Catch '22' the little trouble maker

Just looked outside and Merry our little surprise Christmas baby is lying down on her stomach and one of the new little boys Catch born on June 22 is mounting her acting like he is a big boy and breeding her. He is not able to he is too young but looks so funny trying. So funnier part is Merry's mother Harmony came over and told Catch to stop and even spit at him. Then Catch's mother Greta came over to take her unruly child away and they just left the main pen to go to the pasture. What a hoot. Even alpaca's have strong parenting instincts when their child's
behavior is less than acceptable.- I tried to catch this on video but no such luck

Handsome guy

Louie the first Bull Calf born on the ranch is now living with several cows at our friends the Dawes. Originally the first Cow and Heifer, Valentine and Rosy came from the Dawes' ranch in Templeton.

My Labrador Nattie has been banned from fetching tennis balls due to an injury so now this is her new sport

Kite Flier Extraordinaire

Nattie actually ran with the string winder, and kept the kite flying high, she only closed lined one bystander and she had lots of fun. She is definitely a dog who likes to be active even if she is a dog athlete with injuries.  :)
